The Eastbrook Panthers can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They breezed by Madison-Grant on the road to the tune of 81-22. Winning may never get old, but Eastbrook sure is getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
Sophia Morrison was her usual excellent self, going 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 7 assists. Olivia Howell was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five steals.
Eastbrook's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Madison-Grant, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastbrook will take on Adams Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Adams Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Eastbrook is ranked 39th). As for Madison-Grant, they will play host again and welcome Alexandria-Monroe, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alexandria-Monroe is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
