Basketball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Salem Hills

Salem Hills had won two straight road games and Kade Moser did his part to make it three on Monday. The Salem Hills Skyhawks walked away with a 78-67 win over the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle thanks in part to Moser, who went 8 of 10 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

When it comes to explaining why Juan Diego Catholic lost, don't look at Luke Meyer. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 15 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds. Meyer is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Stockton Young, who posted 17 points and three steals.

Salem Hills' record now sits at 5-6. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

Salem Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-53 victory against West on the 31st. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 67-46 loss against Springville on the 31st.
