The New Milford Green Wave came tearing into Monday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Immaculate by a score of 41-32. For New Milford, this counts as revenge for the 46-45 defeat Immaculate walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Immaculate's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendra Foy, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Miller, who scored six points along with three blocks and two steals.
New Milford's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.3 points. As for Immaculate, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
