The biggest upset of the week belonged to Tomales, who took down 770th ranked Tomales, 33-14.
Calistoga moved up to 785 from 847 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in North Central II/Bay Football. The Wildcats climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Braves 33-14.
St. Vincent de Paul's dynamic duo of Mitch Sheppard and Derek Murphy proved tough for Upper Lake to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sheppard threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns and Murphy had 93 yards receiving. Arman Yektaparast helped St. Vincent de Paul's passing attack out by catching three balls for 52 yards.
Brian Freeman was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 25 carries, he ran for 207 yards as California School for the Deaf bested the Cougars. Carlos Lopez also contributed to the rushing game with 78 yards on the ground.
St. Vincent de Paul's Sheppard and Yektaparast have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sheppard has thrown for 1737 yards this season, while Yektaparast, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 35 catches for 588 yards. Freeman from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 1327 yards.
A big matchup in North Central II/Bay Football this week will be when Calistoga takes on Gary Galloway's team. Paul Harrell's team is in third place, while the Mustangs are in second place.
California School for the Deaf extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Emery, 24-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for Warren Keller's team.
