Fort Myers is a perfect 5-0 against Bonita Springs since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Fort Myers Green Wave will challenge the Bonita Springs Bullsharks at 7:00 p.m. Fort Myers knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Bonita Springs likes a good challenge.

Fort Myers' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Charlotte 10-0. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Fightin' Tarpons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Afton Jessogne made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Sarah Buntrock and Kate Coakley did most of the damage at the plate: Buntrock scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Coakley scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. What's more, Buntrock posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gianni Torres, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Fort Myers hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Bonita Springs fell victim to Neumann and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Celtics, falling 15-0. The Bullsharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bonita Springs now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fort Myers, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Fort Myers took their victory against Bonita Springs when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Myers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
