Promise Njoku was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 19 points along with nine steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Banneker's points. Another player making a difference was Rainelle McNeill, who scored 11 points.
Bell's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Banneker, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Bell will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Anacostia at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. As for Banneker, they will head out on the road to face off against Bard at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
