The Catoosa Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 19th straight defeat. They were dealt a 80-27 loss at the hands of Wagoner. Catoosa has struggled against Wagoner recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Catoosa saw an underclassman step up: Kloie Bristol scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bristol has scored all season.
Catoosa dropped their record down to 2-20 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Wagoner, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Catoosa will challenge Jay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wagoner, they will head out on the road to take on Miami at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Wagoner is ranked 64th).
