The Fisher Catholic Irish stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Bishop Rosecrans, posting a 73-19 win at home. The victory was familiar territory for Fisher Catholic who now have five in a row.
Fisher Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ellie Bruce, who dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 11 rebounds, and ten blocks. Another player making a difference was Voni Bethel, who shot 4-for-8 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists.
Fisher Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Fisher Catholic will head out on the road to take on Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bishop Rosecrans, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wellington School at 6:00 p.m. Wellington School is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
