Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Wasco Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They suffered a rough 27-6 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs on Friday. Wasco's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
St. Vincent de Paul got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Casanovas out in front who threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Mason Caturegli, who gained 134 total yards and a touchdown.
Wasco's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.
Wasco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Vincent de Paul also has no future games currently scheduled.
