Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seminole). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bayshore Bruins a 20-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Warhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Austin Turner, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mack McGinnis, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Seminole was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bayshore only posted a batting average of .000.

Seminole has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Bayshore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole will challenge Gulf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bayshore, they will square off against Palmetto at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
