The Skyline Coyotes will take on the Mesa Jackrabbits at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Skyline took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Dobson with a sharp 19-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Coyotes needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Kendall Dasti was incredible, going 2-for-3 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Lilliana Leon-Valenzuela was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.
Skyline always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Mesa hadn't done well against Dobson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Jackrabbits were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over the Mustangs. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jackrabbits needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Jada Porter made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. Porter was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Dayvanee Hill was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Mailyn Ortiz Cabezas, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Skyline's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-19. As for Mesa, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-10.
Skyline beat Mesa 16-12 when the teams last played on April 3rd. Will the Coyotes repeat their success, or do the Jackrabbits have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
