Shields had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They breezed by the Sweet Water Bulldogs to the tune of 56-1. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 35 points or more this season.

Shields is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Sweet Water, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shields won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Marengo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marengo's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so Shields' offense will have their work cut out for them.
