After losing to Denbigh Baptist Christian the last time they met, Grove Christian School decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Grove Christian School Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen 50-48.

Denbigh Baptist Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyson Fox, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Showalter, who put up ten points.

Grove Christian School's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Grove Christian School has already played their next game, a 78-36 victory against Yeshiva of Virginia on the 6th. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-35 defeat against Portsmouth Christian on the 4th.
