Shorewood will take on Marysville Getchell at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Shorewood will be looking to avenge the 13-24 loss they took the last time these two teams played.
It was close but no cigar for Shorewood as they fell 17-20 to Edmonds-Woodway last Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Meanwhile, we expected Marysville Getchell to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Oak Harbor, and they did. Marysville Getchell have to be aching after a bruising 14-42 loss to Oak Harbor. Marysville Getchell were down by 7-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
