 At the plate,  Madison McSorley was  excellent,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.  Samantha Kelly was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Capistrano Valley  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in seven consecutive  contests.
Capistrano Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Dana Hills,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-13.
 Coincidentally, Capistrano Valley and Dana Hills will both be playing Aliso Niguel the next time they take the field. The Dolphins will  host the Wolverines at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday, while the Cougars will  host them  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
