The Lordstown Red Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Windham Bombers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lordstown comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Lordstown suffered their biggest defeat since December 4, 2023 on Thursday. They took a serious blow against St. John, falling 54-11.
Meanwhile, Windham earned a 53-40 victory over St. John on Monday. The win was just what Windham needed coming off of a 59-26 defeat in their prior matchup.
Lordstown bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.5 points per game. As for Windham, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Lordstown took a serious blow against Windham in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 66-18. Can Lordstown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
