The Laguna Blanca Owls were the 52-50 winner over the Hueneme Vikings when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Laguna Blanca took a 55-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hueneme.
Chris Juanillo was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Richardson, who scored six points.
Laguna Blanca's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hueneme, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-9 record this season.
Laguna Blanca will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Providence at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hueneme is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Castaic at 11:00 a.m. on December 20th. Castaic will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
