Brayden Millikan made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Ethan Gentz was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Martinez, who scored three runs and stole two bases.
Falcon hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matchups.
Falcon pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
