Osakis can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against Upsala as Osakis made off with a 72-46 victory. Osakis' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Meanwhile, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 59-58 to Montevideo.
The victory was the third in a row for Osakis, bringing their record for this year to 10-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.67 points. As for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta, their loss ended a 11-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Osakis skirted past Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 57-54 in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta's Tyler Berlinger, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
