Jacob Jimenez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Santa Anna's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devan Ray, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Santa Anna's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Panther Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Santa Anna will look to defend their home court on Friday against Menard at 7:30 p.m. As for Panther Creek, they will head out on the road to challenge Paint Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Paint Rock comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
