Warsaw is 0-5 against California since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Warsaw Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the California Pintos at 7:30 p.m. Warsaw is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
After soaring to 58 points the game before, Warsaw were a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 52-24 loss at the hands of Hermitage.
Despite the loss, Warsaw saw an underclassman step up: Noah Siebert scored 11 points. The contest was Siebert's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, California strolled past Iberia with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 60-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for California.
Osceola's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Warsaw's defeat dropped theirs to 2-4.
Warsaw took a serious blow against California when the teams last played back in February of 2018, falling 77-44. Can Warsaw avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
