 Norfolk's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-2. As for Fremont, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
 Norfolk beat Fremont by a goal  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023, winning  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norfolk since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
