The Albany Comets lost to the Juda Panthers in the teams' previous meeting in January, but they didn't allow Juda the same satisfaction this time around. The Comets had just enough and edged out Juda 41-37. It took ten tries, but Albany can finally say that they have a win on the road.
The victory improved Albany's record to 2-17. The defeat dropped Juda's record to 3-16.
Albany will take on Williams Bay on Monday. Like Albany, Williams Bay is also coming into the matchup bolstered by a recent victory. As for the Panthers, they will face off against Black Hawk next week. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
