The Neuse Charter Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were the victim of a  tough 78-57 defeat at the hands of North Lenoir. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 When it comes to explaining why Neuse Charter lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Jayvin  Bradley. Despite the final result, he  scored 21 points along with 7  rebounds. Bradley scored a full 36.8% of Neuse Charter's points, the second time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Tyron Crippen, who  scored 12 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Neuse Charter has  fallen quite a ways from their 26-5 record last season and are now  at 2-9. As for North Lenoir,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Neuse Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Henderson Collegiate at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for North Lenoir, they will head out on the road to face off against Greene Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
