Triton Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Irvington Preparatory Academy on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Triton Central got a massive performance out of Jalynn Keith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Keith has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Hixson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Triton Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. They are 10-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win (which was Triton Central's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Looking ahead, Triton Central will challenge Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Irvington Preparatory Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
