On Saturday, things were looking good for The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors after they put the first points on the board, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They received a tough blow as they fell 42-28 to Mountain View. Edmonds-Woodway has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Mountain View to victory were Cash Cook and Porter Drake. Cook rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns, while Drake rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. Mountain View also got help from JJ Thompson who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.
Edmonds-Woodway has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Mountain View, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Edmonds-Woodway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mountain View also has no future games currently scheduled.
