They blew past Howard, posting a 53-19 win at home. That's another feather in the cap for Mary Persons, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was Zaria Wilson, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Mary Persons' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anaja Lucear, who scored 10 points along with 8 steals.
Mary Persons' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Howard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Mary Persons will be playing at home against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Howard won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 6:00 p.m. on November 29th.
