Sumner (Wash.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Steilacoom (Wash.), 28-6, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter, the Spartans led 14-6 at the half.
Sumner expanded its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. The Spartans scored two times in the third, including once on a
Branden Tuilaepa touchdown run.
Steilacoom's only touchdown came on a 38-yard run in the second quarter.
Sumner got revenge for last year's 24-15 loss to the Sentinels with the victory.
The loss was the third in a row for Steilacoom. With the win the Spartans extended their winning streak to three games.
Sumner (3-0) will play a 2A South Puget Sound game against Clover Park next week, while Steilacoom (0-3) will take on Franklin Pierce also in a 2A South Puget Sound game.
