In what's become a running theme this season, the Steele Comets gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Everything went their way against Normandy as Steele made off with a 51-27 victory. Given Steele's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while Normandy is ranked 437th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
The victory makes it two in a row for Steele and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Normandy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Steele will head out on the road to take on Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Avon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Saturday. As for Normandy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
