After losing to the Sutter Huskies the last time they met, the Center Cougars decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. In a tight  matchup that could have gone either way, Center made off with a  48-47 win over Sutter.
 It was another big night for  Terrill Reid, who  scored 13 points along with four  steals.  Chris Nisi was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
 Loss or not, Sutter got some senior leadership from  Jagger Beck who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and 24  rebounds and  Naseem Bhatti who  scored 17 points along with five  rebounds. That was a full 36.2% of Sutter's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Center has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Sutter, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center will  take on Colfax at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sutter, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Bear River at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
