This season hasn't been kind to the Avon Braves, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a serious blow against Livonia on Friday, falling 70-28. Despite the defeat, Avon saw an underclassman step up: Angelie Salogar scored five points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Those five blocks set a new season-high mark for her.
Avon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Livonia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Avon will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Le Roy at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Livonia will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eastridge at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th.
