The McEwen Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Big Sandy for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-31 win on the road. With McEwen ahead 55-17 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Despite the loss, Big Sandy still got an impressive performance from Bailey Berry, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The matchup was Berry's sixth in a row with at least ten points.
McEwen has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Big Sandy, they bumped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.
