The Delavan Panthers lost against the Peoria Christian Chargers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Delavan took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Peoria Christian. Delavan has struggled against Peoria Christian recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Delavan lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Micah Brockhouse, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Cooper Hansen, who scored ten points.
It was another big night for Malachi Persinger, who scored 20 points along with six assists for Peoria Christian. Gavin Walder was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Delavan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Peoria Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.
