  Tyler Weygand was a major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Weygand has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Weygand was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Ryan Gillis was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Saratoga Central Catholic pushed their record up to 17-0 with that  win, which was their 20th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Greenwich, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saratoga Central Catholic will stay at home for another  game and welcome Mechanicville at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Mechanicville will roll in looking for their  15th straight  victory, something Saratoga Central Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. As for Greenwich, they will be playing at home against Maple Hill at 1:00  p.m.  on Sunday.
