The St. Augustine Catholic Wolves will head out on the road to  challenge  the Tanque Verde Hawks at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hopefully St. Augustine Catholic focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
 St. Augustine Catholic scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They breezed by Santa Cruz Valley at home  to the tune of  74-27. St. Augustine Catholic has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  contests by 22  points or more this season.
 St. Augustine Catholic's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Megan Callahan, who  scored 21 points along with eight  assists and six  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kiersten Ball, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 12  assists.
 Meanwhile, Tanque Verde had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding  44-10 victory over Empire on the road. The  victory was just what Tanque Verde needed coming off of a  60-32 loss in their prior  match.
 St. Augustine Catholic pushed their record up to 12-6 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Tanque Verde, their victory  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-11.
 Everything came up roses for St. Augustine Catholic against Tanque Verde in their previous meeting  back in January of 2023 as the  squad secured a  42-14 win. With St. Augustine Catholic ahead  27-2 at the half, the  match was all but over already.
