After flying high against Bucktail last Tuesday, Neumann Regional Academy came back down to earth. The Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights were beaten by the South Williamsport Mountaineers 65-36 on Saturday. Niyah Tutler and Breanna Nixon certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Tutler posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals, while Nixon had 12 points and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Nixon a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%).
South Williamsport was led to victory by Abby Akers and Ella Moore. Akers earned 23 points and seven steals, while Moore went 6-for-9 to rack up 20 points and seven steals.
