Sadly, the Harmony School of Discovery Tigers are still looking for their first win of the season after 12 games. They took a serious blow against Brazos on Tuesday, falling 60-21. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Harmony School of Discovery of the 105-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Despite the defeat, Harmony School of Discovery saw an underclassman step up: Adedayo Adelakum dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Adelakum has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Messiah Graves was another key contributor, scoring three points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Harmony School of Discovery's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Brazos, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-13.
Harmony School of Discovery will head out on the road to face off against Van Vleck at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Van Vleck presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harmony School of Discovery in Texas (Van Vleck is ranked 781st, while Harmony School of Discovery is ranked 1619th). As for Brazos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hitchcock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hitchcock will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Brazos surely won't give up without a fight.
