The Palm Valley FIREBIRDS and the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but sadly the Palm Valley FIREBIRDS had to settle for second. They were dealt a 72-36 loss at the hands of the Mighty Arabs. It was the first time this season that Palm Valley let down their fans at home.
Coachella Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Franky Aguirre out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Joe Beltran, who scored 15 points.
Palm Valley's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3. As for Coachella Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-18.
Palm Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Coachella Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
