After two games on the road, Medina is heading back home. They will take on the Euclid Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Medina will be strutting in after a win while Euclid will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Medina narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Cleveland Heights 51-49. The win was just what Medina needed coming off of a 79-52 defeat in their prior matchup.
Medina's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JT Mog, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Connor Smith, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Euclid's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 84-63 walloping at the hands of Brunswick. Euclid has struggled against Brunswick recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
The victory got Medina back to even at 1-1. As for Euclid, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Medina took their win against Euclid in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 72-46. Will Medina repeat their success, or does Euclid have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
