Baseball Recap: Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Takes a Loss

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Central Missouri HomeSchool Saints. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Jepsen, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Tayden Carter also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Central Missouri HomeSchool, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis will venture away from home to challenge St. Louis Christian HomeSchool at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Missouri HomeSchool, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Christian Fellowship at 5:00 p.m. on April 22.
