After a string of seven wins, Red Bay's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a blow against the Cullman Bearcats, falling 73-45. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Red Bay saw an underclassman step up: freshman Khalil Luster almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Luster is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played.

Red Bay's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Cullman, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Red Bay Tigers challenge the Belmont Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cullman will take on Hartselle in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
