Canterbury's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaya Langford, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 steals. The match was Langford's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ellie Miller was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Canterbury, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Oasis will head out on the road to face off against Bonita Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canterbury, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mariner at 6:30 p.m. Mariner is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
