Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alvarado). They blew past the Brownwood Lions 73-53 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Indians have posted since December 12th.

Alvarado has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Brownwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Alvarado will square off against Venus on Friday. Alvarado will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Brownwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Greenwood at 2:40 p.m. on Saturday.
