Canby came tearing into  Thursday's  contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Canby was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 25-14,  25-16.
 Emily Nelson paced Canby's offense, picking up 19 kills. Nelson really made an impact as  she also led the team in assists with 29. She also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Alexa Vernlund, each putting up two.
Canby's record now sits at 15-8. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 5-13.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matches. Canby will challenge Lakeview at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, they will head out to  challenge Apple Valley  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
