Shroder Paideia Academy won the last time they faced Spencer Center and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Spencer Center. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Brian McGrady, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. He has become a key player for Shroder Paideia Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Christian Hutchinson, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Shroder Paideia Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .552 or higher in eight consecutive matches.

Shroder Paideia Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Spencer Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Shroder Paideia Academy will take on Taft at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Senators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.4 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
