Lopez hit Donna with a nine-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Redskins lost 11-2 to the Lobos. The loss continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Lobos: they've now lost five in a row.

Ronaldo Bocanegra was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Donna's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 6-13 when he doesn't).

Donna's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Lopez, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season.
