Cornerstone Academy extended the longest winning streak in Florida Christian IV (6 Man) this week by beating Eastland Christian, 71-19. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Cougars.
Cornerstone Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 361 from 518. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 71-19 victory over the Hurricanes last week.
Cornerstone Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. jake altom has thrown for 654 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while seb drack has 15 catches for 323 yards. Altom also leads the league in rushing with 1613 yards.
Tim johnson's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 71 points on Eastland Christian. Altom threw for 91 yards and three touchdowns, ran for 133 yards and caught one passes for 22 yards in the win.
