The Banning Lewis Academy Stallions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Colorado Springs School on the road to the tune of 49-15. That 49-15 margin sets a new team best for Banning Lewis Academy this season.
Banning Lewis Academy can attribute much of their success to Elany Canada, who scored 24 points. Natalia Burton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Several Kodiaks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Hebel, who scored two points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Banning Lewis Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Colorado Springs School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Banning Lewis Academy will be home for the holidays to greet James Irwin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. James Irwin comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Colorado Springs School will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas MacLaren School at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
