The biggest upset of the week belonged to Shelby, who took down 403rd ranked Shelby, 27-21.
Sandusky moved up to 383 from 433 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Northern Ohio. The Blue Streaks were able to make the jump by defeating the Whippets 27-21.
Isaac Perry was the best wideout in the league this week as Norwalk lost to Bellevue. Perry racked up seven receptions for 52 yards. Damius Peacock helped Norwalk's passing attack out by catching three balls for 44 yards.
Lukas Ousley put up the best numbers through the air as Shelby fell to Sandusky. He finished with one completions for 14 yards and one touchdown. Ousley's favorite target this week was Coalton Webb, who caught one pass for 29 yards.
Andrew Baird provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Steven McCoy's team lost to Mike Franklin's team. He completed five passes for 60 yards and also ran for 93 yards.
Breck Turner was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 17 carries, he ran for 144 yards as the Truckers lost to the Redmen. Jordan Johnson also contributed to the rushing game with 12 yards on the ground.
Norwalk's Jake Fetherolf and Johnson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Northern Ohio in both passing and receiving yards. Fetherolf has thrown for 1886 yards this season, while Johnson, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 22 catches for 530 yards. The Whippets' Baird leads the league in rushing yards with 842.
Chris MacFarland's team's Fetherolf is within 114 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against Willard.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Columbian takes on the Blue Streaks. At the moment, the Tornadoes are in first, while Sandusky is in fifth.
Columbian extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Crimson Flashes, 46-8. The win marks eighth in a row for the Steve Gilbert's team.
