Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Henderson). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cumberland Academy Knights an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Lions have beaten the Knights the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Henderson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cumberland Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Coming up, Henderson will venture away from home to challenge Canton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cumberland Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
